Job description

A fantastic community primary school are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to deliver targeted interventions in a 1:1 and small group setting. The role is to assist in KS2 across the classes; therefore some experience in a school setting would be preferred.

Typical duties

  • Reinforce lessons presented by teachers by reviewing material with the student one-on-one or in small groups
  • Planning and conducting specific interventions with individuals and groups
  • Utilising your skills to assist all students who may be struggling with the curriculum
  • Working closely with the teacher to ensure that your time and energy is best spent in a way that optimises learning for the students and class

You will need a child workforce only DBS on the update service (or willing to process a new one), be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) and provide two excellent references from the last 6 years.
