Intervention Teaching Assistant - Exeter

This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

Are you looking for regular work that is highly rewarding, yet challenging in Exeter?

Can you adapt to different situations?

Do you want to help children reach their full potential?

If this sounds like something you're interested in, Teaching Personnel are recruiting Intervention Teaching Assistants for a new school in Exeter. The school works with children who have learning and behaviour difficulties. The children spend time in and out of the classroom. When in the classroom, they are taught a tailored curriculum of core subjects (mathematics, English and science). However, they do also spend time out of the classroom where they might visit museums in Exeter, local leisure centres, parks, etc. The school is focused on developing not only a child's academic ability, but also personal well-being.

Those candidates with specialist skills and qualifications are especially urged to register for ongoing and regular work as soon as is possible. Candidates with relevant experience not necessarily in a classroom environment are also urged to register. If you are interested in registering with us then please call our Teaching Personnel Exeter Branch or apply online. 01392 267288

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
