Intervention Teacher - Rochdale

Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with one of our client schools based in Rochdale, who are looking to recruit an Intervention Teacher to support a number of pupils for the remainder of the academic year. This exciting role is due to start as soon as possible for the ideal candidate.

  • Full time or part time Intervention Teacher post starting ASAP
  • Until the end of the academic year in the first instance
  • Earn up to £70 per day dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Applications encouraged from graduates

Our client school based in the Milnrow area of Rochdale is an Ofsted graded 'Outstanding' 11-16 academy with an excellent reputation in the local community. The school have a record of posting fantastic exam results, and have a positive Progress 8 score of 0.39, which is above the national average. The school is a short drive from the M62 motorway and also has good public transport links.

Our client school would like an Intervention Teacher to work with a targeted group of students in order to boost their attainment in both English and Maths. These students have been identified as under performing in the core subjects and so will be withdrawn from other subjects in order to have the intervention deemed necessary. Some intervention may also take place after school hours.
