Intervention Teacher - Bradford

Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for Specialist Intervention staff to provide support in our partner schools in Bradford. This could be the perfect role if you are an NQT looking for valuable experience or an experienced teacher looking to support pupils through intervention.

This role is aimed at Intervention Teachers who are able to work with small groups and 1:1 with pupils who need additional support in core subjects delivering extra support and/or booster sessions with targeted students, designed to increase their confidence in the subject and ultimately their attainment. You may be supporting pupils with a mixture of abilities and/or SEN, so existing SEN skills and experience would be advantageous.

This is an exciting role where you know you will be making a difference to pupils who need that extra support. Ideally you will have some of the following:

  • Be an NQT or Fully Qualified Teacher
  • Experience with KS1/KS2
  • Be able to supply at least 2 education/school based references/other options available for graduates
  • Be passionate about education and have some understanding of booster based teaching
  • Confidence when dealing with challenging behaviour

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Ruth Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, and Leeds Trinity University.

These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability and many more.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
