Intervention TA/HLTA required in Camborne

Job description

A primary school within the Camborne area is currently looking for an intervention specialist to work with pupils needing additional assistance with their learning. You will be working with children on a 1:1 basis and/or in small groups to support their literacy and phonics skills.

The perfect candidate will be required to:

- Work with a number of different pupils with mixed abilities

- Prepare learning materials

- Encourage children to develop their learning strategies

- Identify areas of difficulty

The right candidate for this position will have experience working with children on a 1:1 basis and will be extremely confident in their ability to support SEN. Previous experience assisting children with their literacy and/or numeracy skills is also desirable.

This position is due to start after Easter and will span until the end of the summer term. If you are an experienced and qualified TA/HLTA in the Camborne area looking to further your career in a school rated 'good' in their most recent Ofsted report, get in touch!

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
