Intervention Specialist in Hull

Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced Intervention Specialist for a position in a SEN setting within a Hull school that deals with LAC.

The ideal candidate for the role must have experience in planning and engaging interventions in challenging settings. The ideal candidate should also have prior experience in delivering interventions in both a 1:1 setting and also a group basis. Other qualities include experience in classroom management and supporting the class teacher.

What we require for the role:

  • A history of planning interventions for students falling behind in key subject areas
  • A willingness to work in challenging settings, including difficult behaviour
  • A passion for education and somebody who gains satisfaction from seeing students improve and flourish in a supportive environment.
  • A calm demeanour and an ability to remain cool under pressure and difficult circumstances.
  • A strong commitment to child welfare and unwavering support to keeping children safe at all times.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
