Information Technology Teacher

This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

Information Technology Teacher required in Derby

  • £120 - £160 per day dependent on experience
  • Supportive IT department
  • CPD opportunities

I am representing a Secondary School located in Derby area that is looking for a Information Technology specialist for a vacancy in the coming term. The school, with over 1000 students, has previously achieved ‘Good’ Ofsted reports and are putting measures in place to return to these standards; therefore a candidate who would be committed to helping the school reach this is essential.

You would be responsible for teaching mainly Key Stage 3 and 4 IT lessons, although the school does have a Sixth Form provision so there is likely to be Key Stage 5 teaching involved. The school has achieved ‘Good’ ratings for the behaviour of its students, so a teacher who is happy to challenge the students academically, rather than merely deal with behavioural issues, is what the school are ideally seeking.

In return you will receive;

• Competitive rates of pay, up to £160 per day depending on experience and length of booking

• Access to an ‘Outstanding’ CPD programme to enhance your skills and your CV

• A dedicated recruitment consultant, who will find you the work that you're looking for

• ‘Recommend a Friend’ scheme, which earns you money for nominating fellow teachers for work

• Save money on needless umbrella company fees by being part of Teaching Personnel’s payroll
