ICT teacher needed in a mainstream Secondary school

  • Available to NQT's and/or FQT's and OTT's

My client is looking to appoint a Teacher of ICT to join a strong and successful ICT department which has an extremely impressive record in securing outstanding levels of progress for all students. Due to an unexpected absence, our client school is in urgent need of a ICT teacher who is capable of delivering Media across Key Stage 3 and either to Key Stage 4. You will be predominantly teaching mixed ability Key Stage 3 pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. The ideal Media teacher will be comfortable with the ICT curriculum able to deliver consistently good lessons. The school achieved over 75% A*-C at GCSE for the last three years and Value Added data from RAISE online places the department in the first percentile nationally. Requirements of this post as a ICT teacher

* PGCE in Secondary ICT

* Experience teaching ICT to a minimum of Key Stage 3

* A willingness to contribute to the wider scale of the department and school in their efforts towards continued improvement

The ideal candidate will have recent UK teaching experience and relevant teaching qualifications e.g. PGCE, BEd, BA (Hons) in Education with a specialism in secondary ICT (Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5). You must also have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
