Individual Needs Assistant | Behaviour Mentor | Brighton

Job description

Teaching Personnel are working closely with an average sized primary school in Brighton to appoint a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with a pupil with challenging behaviour. The role will be full time and to start immediately. The successful candidate will be working with a child in KS2 on a 1:1 basis; supporting the pupil in their learning but also working towards effective behaviour management techniques.

The ideal candidate will be resilient and patient with the ability to empathise with a pupil who faces emotional and social challenges. A Team Teach qualification would be an advantage, but is not essential. The school has been graded 'Good' by Ofsted in their most recent inspection and has an excellent reputation in the local community.

  • Up to £350 a week (depending on experience)
  • School based in Brighton
