The Headteacher and SENCO within a mixed comprehensive Secondary school located in the Radcliffe region of Bury is seeking a resilient Inclusion Support Mentor to join their highly successful staff team on a full time basis from October 2019 or earlier.

  • Full time Inclusion Support Mentor, required from October 2019 or earlier.
  • Must have relevant qualifications and experience to be considered.
  • Opportunity to work within a high performing Secondary school which is easily accessible via the M66.
  • Earn up to £325+ per day.

Due to a newly restructured support department in place at school there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic Inclusion Mentor to join a welcoming staff team. The responsibilities for the successful Inclusion Support Mentor will include but may not be limited to;

  • Provide support and work with individual pupils and small intervention based groups across Key stages 3/4 to ensure pupils learning goes on as uninterrupted.
  • Support teachers in the organisation of resources for pupils in line with work set.
  • Challenge pupils, demanding high expectations of all pupils, in order to engage and develop their independence and self-confidence.
  • Contribute to planning activities along with the class teacher/SENCO; adjusting lessons appropriately.

Located in on the borderline between Bury and Bolton, our client Secondary school has approximately 700 pupils enrolled, aged 11-16. The school have newly refurbished learning spaces with access to state of the art resources within modern facilities. The school can be accessed via the M66 motorway and for those on public transport, there are a number of public transportation options available with links across Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas; Bolton, Preston, Rochdale and Salford.
