ICT Teaching Work in Dorset

This vacancy has now expired.

Job description

We are looking for ICT and Computing teachers to join our growing bank of staff in the Bournemouth and Poole area of Dorset. We are experiencing an increased demand for specialist IT teachers who are able to teach GCSE IT and also teachers that have experience teaching A-Level IT or computing. We have long-term and full-time roles available on a regular basis, with schools awaiting additional candidates to be put forward by Teaching Personnel. However, we don't have enough staff available.

If a long-term position isn't what you are looking for, we can also offer short term assignments and day-to-day supply. Our busiest period will be in October and November this year, where we will be able to regularly offer you work in a range of schools. I work with the vast majority of secondary schools and academies throughout Bournemouth & Poole and can offer varied bookings.

Depending on your experience and the type of work being undertaken, the pay you would receive would be negotiable, starting from £100 per day. We also have regular CPD offerings and will offer advice and support if needed whilst you work in school.

If you are interested in working with Teaching Personnel, please contact the office and ask for James Marsh, or send your CV to James Marsh

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Full assistance provided.
