ICT teacher - Darlington - Large Secondary School - Starting after Easter - NQT welcome to apply for this role

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an ICT teacher to work within a "Good" secondary school after Easter. We welcome experienced and NQT's to apply for this position as the school in question will help you through your NQT year if necessary. The role of the ICT Teacher would be to ideally hit the ground running in teaching 11 to 16 year olds, occasionally up to 18. The ICT Teacher will be support by co-subject teachers as well as a dedicated NQT mentor if you are newly qualified.

Person Specification

  • Hold a good honours degree in relevant subject
  • Hold a QTS
  • DBS and registered on the update service
  • Minimum of 1 years experience within a classroom environment
  • NQT welcome to apply for this role

  • Set excellent standards of punctuality
  • Dress in a professional manner
  • Make the classroom environment friendly and stimulating
  • Deal promptly with any aspect of student behaviour that is deemed inappropriate in line with the school's behaviour policy
