I am currently working with a fantastic secondary school within the Orpington area who is seeking a Humanities Teacher to begin from September. They require all applicants to hold QTS and at least 2 years teaching experience.

As a Humanities teacher you will be working alongside a strong Humanities team, and will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with potential key stage 5 teaching on offer also depending on your ability. Work with and learn from an excellent faculty and liaise closely with a committed and passionate Head of Humanities to develop your own practice, whilst also benefiting from outstanding, modern facilities and teaching resources!

Requirements:

  • QTS/NQT desirable but not essential.
  • Must be able to obtain a DBS check.
  • Proof of career history from the last 6 years.
  • Able to provide 2 career related references.
  • Experience of teaching KS3-KS5.
  • The drive and stamina to exceed school expectations and targets.
  • Strong subject knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally.
