Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a secondary school in the BD16 area of Bradford to appoint an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher. The successful candidate will join a reputable secondary school to work alongside the humanities department and engage pupils in their learning. The school’s ethos is to encourage pupils to take responsibility of their learning and attitude and to inspire students to achieve their best.
Requirements for the role:
- Hold QTS status and relevant degree
- Have a DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to get one
- the ability to confidently teach History, Geography and RE (KS3/4)
As a Humanities Teacher, you must:
- Be enthusiastic and committed to inspire students in their learning
- Be able to creatively plan and deliver engaging lessons
- Have high expectations of achievement and behaviour
- Be able to differentiate between ability levels and deliver teaching accordingly
- Having an adaptable approach to work with flexible working hours
- Work alongside a vibrant department to create excellent working relationships
This role provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for a change or will provide great experience for career progression for an NQT.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
