Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a day-to-day supply teacher to work in a range of our client schools in the Stockport area.

The successful candidate will be expected to work on a flexible basis to support our client schools when managing their internal absences. You will be able to effectively manage your own availability to accommodate to your personal commitments. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences across various subjects and year groups. As a supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with diverse student populations, covering for absent teachers and maintaining continuity in the learning process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the school’s curriculum
  • Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the school day.
  • Providing constructive feedback to students and supporting their academic progress
  • Upholding the school’s values and ethos at all times

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching across different key stages.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and student needs.
  • Commitment to promoting an inclusive and nurturing educational setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
