Humanities Teacher - Grimsby

Start Date: 6th of January 2020
Hours: Full Time Monday to Friday 0830-1530
Contract Type: Supply, Temporary, Opportunity for Permanent

The School:

An Outstanding School for 14 to 16 year olds, part of a Further and Higher Education Centre. Located centrally in Grimsby, with access via bus, train and plenty of parking on site. The School provide theory and practical lessons and courses, creating an inclusive approach for all learners. The School have a dedicated SEN department to provide personalised learning plans for students with a diagnosis of SEN, including autism, learning difficulties and social, emotional and mental health needs.

The Job Role:

  • To provide an engaging learning atmosphere for all students
  • To use all available resources to create interactive lessons
  • To deliver Key Stage 3 and GCSE Humanities lessons; History or Geography specialist will be accepted
  • Effectively manage behaviour within the classroom
  • Provide a safe learning environment for all
