About the School

This school is looking for humanities teachers to join their richly diverse and vibrant community. With a primary school, secondary school and sixth form the school can ensure the development of their students from a young age until further education of entering the work place. They aim to help young people become leaders for tomorrow, helping them to flourish academically whilst preparing them for adulthood.

They aim to instil values of respect, integrity, responsibility and creativity into their students to ensure they become good and honest citizens. There us an emphasis on British values, teaching children about the history and tradition of the country. They discuss five main values; democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs. About the role

Humanities Teacher

Ages 11-16 (KS3-5)

5 days a week

Temporary role with the possibility to take a permanent role

Creating engaging and diverse lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Teachers will be expected to raise student attainment and get them excited about learning

There will be an expectation to create lesson plans and mark the student's work.

Location

The school is accessible via Stanmore underground(less than 5 minute walk).

Requirements

A UK recognised teaching qualification (BA QTS, BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)

Experience teaching Humanities (History, Geography etc.) at secondary school (from KS3-KS4)
