I am working with a small friendly college based in beautiful Scarborough on the North Yorkshire Coast, which is part of a large, innovative, dynamic and financially sound organisation. We are officially the only outstanding provider of Further Education in Scarborough.

The College are looking for a committed and dynamic HR Business Partner to join the College at an exciting moment, in its development as they develop their brand and settle into their new College Campus.
The post is on a fixed term contract commencing mid-January 2018 for 12 months, to cover maternity leave.
Candidates must have a proven track record of advising and influencing Senior Managers in all matters of complex HR and employment law. This will include, but is not limited, to recruitment and selection activity, employee relations, and supporting managers on absence and performance management, as well as advising on disciplinary and grievance cases. Emphasis will also be placed on developing reward and recognition initiatives. Further details can be found in the job description.
The successful candidate will work independently and will have line management responsibility for a HR Assistant. Applicants must be CIPD qualified.
