A new and exciting client to Teaching Personnel seek a qualified, confident and adaptable HLTA.

Job Purpose
To work with young people as directed, providing support to the Executive SLT, Head of School and Teacher across a range of child-centred activities which promote child development and learning.
Support for Students- Assess the needs of students using detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support learning and establish productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
The school caters for pupils with quite severe Social and Emotional Mental Health (SEMH), this includes very challenging behaviour and strong verbal outbursts. In order to succeed in this setting a background successfully supporting pupils with challenging behaviour would certainly be advantageous.
*You must hold a HLTA qualification, have experience of delivering a vocational qualification and an understanding of inclusion and the potential barriers which may face young people with SEN/SEMH and those at risk of offending*
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
