Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit HLTAs to work in SEN schools and other alternative provisions in North East Lincolnshire. If you are looking to work with Teaching Personnel and make a difference to a child's life we can help you today.

About the role

Being a HLTA involves working with pupils in a variety of settings be they 1:1, small group or assisting within a classroom setting to engage pupils and ensure they are able to develop pupils learning. A large part of your role will be engaging with pupils to ensure they are equipped with the correct skills to live and adapt to the outside world.

About you as the ideal candidate

  • The best candidate will be currently working within an SEN school or have previous experience within a SEN setting.
  • Other valuable experience is welcome such as working within a mainstream setting and outside of a traditional working environment would be seen as an advantage.
  • You must have a proficiency in English along with skills in Maths is essential to ensure the pupils can be adequately assisted.
  • You must have a patient personality, with the mind-set to help pupils and drive success.
  • Ideally you will have your own transport and a clean driving license.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
