Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) required in the Hull and East Yorkshire area.

About the role

As a HLTA in one of our SEN schools across Hull and East Yorkshire, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering lessons to classes and academic intervention to small groups. You will be required to stand in for teachers and be able to assess pupils' work to provide feedback. During intervention sessions, you will be assisting in the development of pupils with the goal of achieving rapid progress for targeted individuals in particular areas of Maths, English and Basic Skills. We have opportunities for day to day supply work, as well as longer term positions within our client schools across the East Riding and Hull area.

About you

  • You will hold HLTA status or higher and have worked within an SEN setting
  • You will be proficient in English and Maths.
  • You will have a caring and compassionate personality, being patient at all times.
  • You will care deeply about and be committed to the welfare of children.
  • Ideally you will have your own transport and a clean driving license.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
