HLTA required in Blackburn Behavioural Unit

Job description

Teaching Personnel are urgently seeking a HLTA for a Behavioural Unit/SEN provision in Blackburn.

The School are ideally seeking a Team Teach trained Teaching Assistant with behaviour experience.

The role will be full time, commencing on the 29th April 2019 and it is likely to be a long term role or even permanent for the right candidate.

The candidate must have experience working with pupils with SEN and Challenging Behaviours, the candidate must also be confident in their abilities in terms of classroom/behaviour management.

You will be assisting the Teacher in behaviour management, helping engage pupils in education and occasionally stepping up to lead lessons.

The role is full time and candidates must be willing to work with pupils who can occasionally be violent.

The pay for this role will be between £9.50 - 11.50 per hour, although this is negotiable.
