HLTA role at a Salford (M30) Primary School - September Start

Working across KS1 and KS2 for 5 days per week

Covering full classes using teacher marking

Covering for PPA release time

We are currently working with a "Good" Primary School within the Eccles area of Salford. Due to a retirement, a HLTA position has become available on a full time basis from September. The position will be a permanent role and you would be working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This role of HLTA would be in place to cover classes where the work is set, however you would be expected to mark the work and feedback to the relevant class teachers where necessary.

The Salford school can offer a great, supportive staff team and an outstanding commitment to developing the careers of teachers and teaching assistants. As a result, the school are open to applications from Level 3 Teaching Assistants as well as HLTA's and NQTs. Furthermore, if you are looking to transition into a HLTA role from being a teacher for whatever reason, you would also be welcomed to apply.

The headteacher is looking for a hardworking energetic staff member who has strong behaviour management. The role will be full time and will transition on to a school contract.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
