Teaching Personnel are seeking an experienced HLTA to support in a the S35 area of Sheffield school to start with immediate effect.

The ideal candidate would have prior experience in assisting with classroom management, and have an enthusiastic approach to teaching. Responsibilities include assisting the class teacher in the delivery of inspiring lessons; the role may also include the delivery of lessons to meet the objective set by the teacher. The HLTA will support pupils in both small groups and 1:1 interventions to meet the schools high expectation of learning.

The HLTA will be expected to work across the board in school therefore someone with prior experience in both KS1 & 2 would be desirable but not compulsory.

Teaching Personnel are seeking:

  • A passionate, committed HLTA
  • A HLTA with experience in behaviour management
  • A HLTA with experience supporting in both KS1 and KS2

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
