Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently in search of a Cover Supervisor/HLTA to work in a Doncaster school located in the heart of the town centre.

The role will consist of working throughout school from Reception to Y6 on a full time basis with the intention of becoming a full time permanent member of staff.

The main responsibilities will include;

  • Class PPA cover, where planning is set by the teacher
  • Small group interventions
  • Booster and catch up groups of core subjects
  • Some planning responsibility's working along phase leaders/class teachers can be expected

The school have expressed there interest in someone who has past experience of this kind of role and is able to build strong lasting relations with students whilst buying into the family ethos the school SLT team promotes.

  • An enthusiastic and resourceful individual
  • Able to work in EYFS/KS1/KS2
  • Committed to raising standards and attainment through high quality support
  • Knowledgeable about current assessments across Key Stages
  • Knowledge of SATs and phonics schemes would be beneficial but not essential
  • Access to a car
