Are you a History Teacher currently seeking a new environment for after the Easter Holidays? Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Fully Qualified History Teacher whether you are an ECT or you are already experienced. This job will be based Central Manchester.

Only fully qualified teachers will be considered for this position.

Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity at an OFSTED graded ‘good’ school in Manchester. Throughout this role, you will be required to work within the Humanities Department. You may be required to assist in the teaching of Geography and Religious Education; however, your main responsibilities will be teaching History.  It is essential that you are able to plan lessons that are inclusive of your pupils and their varying abilities. You should use interactive resources to engage the pupils in their learning.

Requirements for this role:

  • You must be a fully qualified teacher with recognised UK QTS or equivalent, you will need to provide your TRN number.
  • It is essential that you are located in Manchester.
  • You must have a fully enhanced child workforce DBS check, registered with the Update Service. If you do not already have one, you will be able to apply for one through Teaching Personnel.
  • You will be required to provide a minimum of two employment-based references that will cover the last two years of your work history, or anything education-based within the last ten years of your employment.

You will be paid in line with your Teacher Pay Scale, you will be paid between £30,000 and £46,525. The school that you will be working in is an OFSTED ‘good’ school, behaviour is generally good.
