About the role: My client school working with have a fantastic opportunity for a Teacher of History to join them from February 2019. They are seeking to appoint an inspiring teacher who will play a pivotal role in the progress and drive of this department. You'll be joining the school at an exciting time as the rapid improvements they are gaining momentum. Whether you are at the very start of your teaching career or an experienced practitioner, the school can offer tailored CPD and opportunities within the academy and across the wider Trust in due course to suit you.

Please note that an immediate start could be offered for a successful Newly Qualified Teacher.

The Person

  • You will need to be graded a Good to outstanding History Teacher
  • Minimum 1 year's experience of Teaching History is desired - however NQT's would be considered if they can display evidence of previous outstanding classroom practise
  • Excellent work ethic and passion for History
  • Ability to teach History across KS 3 and 4 and KS 5
  • Ready for a step up into responsibility
