Are you a teacher of History looking for a role with the option to deliver A-Level?

Do you want to teach engaged, enthusiastic and academic students at an Ofsted graded good' school?

I am working with this Secondary school based in Canterbury to recruit a GCSE and A-Level teacher of History for a job starting in April 2018 (possibly sooner). The role will be full time job.

In this job you will get the opportunity to teach KS3, KS4 GCSE option classes and A-Level History. You will teach students that are engaged and enthusiastic about the subject and work in a department with other Humanities teachers considered to be one of the strongest departments in the school.

This school has built its reputation on hard work, excellent attendance and good behaviour and now require a passionate History teacher to help further there success which has been achieved and promoted through effective teaching, engaging lessons in a stimulating work environment. All classes are equipped with new technology to support innovative and engaging teaching methodology.

In this teaching job you will need:

  • The ability to teach History at KS3, KS4 (GCSE) and KS5 (A-Level)
  • A Willingness to enthuse and embrace enthusiastic students
  • The ability to stretch and challenge academic students
  • The experience to manage challenging behaviour
  • The knowledge of current and innovative learning methodologies
