History Teacher Required for an Academy in Bradford

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a teacher of History on behalf of our client Academy located in Bradford on a temp to perm basis from June 2018.

  • Full time History teacher role - Required after half term
  • Teaching all abilities and levels of History to KS4 with some KS5 classes
  • Pay in line with MPS (Between £120 - £180 per day)

The Principal of this 11-18 mixed Academy located in Bradford wishes to appoint a history teacher for the remainder of this academic year and then to continue in September 2018. The incoming history teacher will be able to commit to working within this school until at least early 2019.

The school wish to appoint a history teacher with:

** A track record of consistently good or outstanding teaching.

** The ability to encourage progress across all ability levels

** Excellent classroom management skills and an enthusiastic and driven approach towards teaching and learning

This is a 'good' Academy located minutes from Bradford City Centre and motorway links. The school serves a large catchment area of pupils, with an above average proportion of pupils known to be eligible for free school meals. The proportion of students from minority ethnic groups is above that found nationally. The humanities department is well resourced and you will be joining 3 other members of teaching staff who are all motivated and driven to improving pupil attainment.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
