History teacher

Job description

A medium sized secondary school in Sheffield are looking to recruit a History teacher to start with them in January. The successful History teacher will be teaching KS3 and KS4 with a focus on GCSE level in the main. This is a full time position with a timetable made up of primarily History with a little general cover involved as well at KS3.

The school is ideally looking for an experienced History teacher who has a proven track record of delivering consistently high results. This position is open due to the existing teacher of History due to have an operation and take sickness leave for a term and a half at least.

Key aspects of this History teaching role:

  • Pay is dependent upon pay scale but will be between £110 - £160 per day
  • Full time History teaching position: starting January 2019
  • 1 and a half terms teaching in the first instance
  • Primarily teaching KS4 History with additional general cover where required
