The Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team are seeking a passionate Teacher of History on a full time basis from September 2019. Due to a member of staff within the Humanities department relocating this rare opportunity has now risen within a welcoming Secondary school located at the heart of South Liverpool.

This Ofsted graded 'Good' Catholic Secondary school will welcome applications from experienced teachers and those in the early stages of their career, as relevant support will be provided. For further information, please see the details below;

• Full time Teacher of History required, from September 2019.
• Applications are urged from both experienced and newly qualified teachers.
• Located in South Liverpool
• Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 406.

The incoming Teacher of History will be an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of History, with the ambition and motivation to work within a highly successful faculty. The humanities department consists of Geography, History and RE across Key Stages 3 & 4.

The successful Teacher of History will involve but may not be limited to;

• Plan, prepare and mark classwork, reporting back to Senior Leadership within the faculty and taking appropriate action for assessment and evaluation where applicable.
• Deliver dynamic History lessons ranging to meet the needs of pupils at a range of learning abilities and ages.
• Manage behaviour in accordance to behaviour management policies, aimed at the engagement of pupils across the board.
• Uphold school ethos and values.

The school has 1000 pupils on roll aged 11-16 and can easily be accessed via the M62. There are also numerous public transport links within close proximity to the school for those who do not drive.
