History Teacher

Job description

The History department enthuses students to measure past events and understand with people from other time periods as key to learning the History curriculum. Making independent learners is at the heart of the history department's and teacher's focus when evolving pupil's achievement in the subject as well as making history fun and accessible through stimulating and varied lessons.

An enthusiastic History specialist or experienced teacher (NQT or FQT considered) are urged to apply - full time or part time agreements are genuinely considered. If you are passionate about the subject and want to bring History to life please apply today.

As a History Teacher you will be required and receive:

  • Teach up to KS4 GCSE (preferred)
  • Have sound curriculum knowledge
  • Have the ability to engage and enthuse students
  • Pay reflective of experience and expectations of the role - up to £140 p/d considered
  • Freedom & flexibility with regards to notice periods

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
