Teachers and Cover Supervisors for Humanities wanted in Medway area to work in local Secondary Schools

Teaching Personnel are looking for aspiring teachers in Medway, specifically the Maidstone area.

We are looking for recent graduates of History, Geography or related subjects who would like to gain valuable experience in a Secondary School with a view to taking on teacher training in the future.

This will give you the ideal opportunity to find out more about the teaching profession, whilst building your experience and CV towards this career. You will have the opportunity to lead lessons, working with classes of up to 30 students, in a variety of Secondary schools, from Comprehensive to Grammar schools.

As well as flexible working hours, working with Teaching Personnel gives you access to the 'CPD Academy', which is great for those looking to develop their skills and aspiring teachers. Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a number of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers to deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities, covering areas such as; Autism Awareness Training, Child Protection, Team-Teach training, NASEN – supporting SEN, Moving and Manual Handling and more.

You will receive pay on a weekly basis, with daily rates depending on experience.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
