History Teacher - Manchester maternity cover

  • Full time History teaching position on a maternity cover

All Boys Secondary school in Tameside require a History teacher to start a maternity cover after October half term.

This will be on a temporary basis at first to Christmas Easter and potentially a full 12 months for the right candidate. You will need to be a History specialist with a proven track record of raising attainment, achieving results and getting the best results possible for students of all learning abilities.

You will have experience teaching up to GCSE level and demonstrate a clear passion for History. Situated in the SK15 post code of Tameside there is a train station close by and has regular bus routes directly outside of school. Picturesque building with an established Humanities department his is an excellent opportunity for a History teaching currently looking for a long term position or coming to the end of a current post.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
