History Teacher - Full time from September 2017

Our client school located in Southcote wish to appoint a History teacher to cover maternity leave from September 2017.

• Full time History teacher – Sept 2017 Start – Southcote

• Working within an Ofsted graded ‘Good’ secondary school with excellent management in place

• Pay in line with MPS/UPS

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of our client school located within the Reading LEA. This 11-16 mixed sex comprehensive school wish to appoint a History teacher to cover an upcoming maternity.

This school is located in Southcote, bordering central Reading and is easily accessible via the M4 and A33. The school serves a good catchment area and has an average number of children of ethic minority backgrounds. Since the arrival of the current Headteacher the school has seen dramatic improvements and pupils make good progress.

The head of department is looking to appoint a History teacher who holds:

*PGCE or equivalent in secondary History

*Experience teaching History at KS3/4

*A track record for delivering strong results at GCSE

The successful applicant will be joining a department of full time History teachers who are dedicated to improving the attainment results and development of their pupils. The school is extremely well facilitated after recent building developments and excellent ICT facilities, with interactive whiteboards within all the classrooms.
