Due to a departmental restructure within the Humanities faculty, our client Secondary school and Sixth Form in Salford wish to appoint a full time History teacher to join them in September 2018.
This open vacancy requires a passionate History teacher that aims to secure a permanent position and is dedicated to raising attainment across the Key Stages.
"We are working to secure a History practitioner of outstanding calibre to join our Humanities department ahead of the new academic year. This permanent position will encompass teaching History to pupils across Key Stage Three and GCSE, alongside taking on full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking. We are accepting applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers of History and wish to begin the interview process at the earliest convenience." - Head Teacher

- Pay in line with teaching scale point (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)

The large mixed comprehensive 11-18 Secondary school and Sixth Form has recently been refurbished through the Salford Schools' Development Programme and due to this; state of the art facilities are available to all departments. The successful History teacher will join a successful department and be expected to demonstrate outstanding practice and experience of raising attainment across all cohorts.
Located to the north of Salford, our partner Secondary school and Sixth Form can be reached via the A580 (East Lancashire Road) from central Manchester and Leigh/Wigan. For those without transportation, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from Trafford, Bolton and central Salford.
