Are you a History Teacher?

Looking for work in a "Oustanding" secondary school?

We are working with a lovely secondary school in the Ringwood area who are looking for a History Teacher on a temporary basis from January up until Easter 2019. The school looking for an well-qualified teacher to work within a successful and forward-thinking department. The role would suit a newly qualified teacher or a teacher seeking to extend his or her range of experience. The school are a large thriving oversubscribed 11-18 Comprehensive situated close to the New Forest and the Hampshire / Dorset coastline.

The role it self is a fixed term contract ending in Easter 2019 and would require a teacher to teach History up to KS5 on a full time basis. The ideal candidate should hold a UK recognised Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or any similar teaching qualifications such as PGCE, a relevant UK degree with the desire to educate pupils, while developing these pupils for the future.

Experience teaching History up to key stage 4 is essential with experience to KS5 desirable , with an additional subject also desirable. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
