Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large RC Secondary school in North Manchester and due to internal promotion, the school wish to appoint a History Teacher to join their Humanities department in September 2018.

This open History teaching vacancy commences in the new academic year, and can progress into a permanent position for the successful History teacher.

"We have a requirement for a History teacher to join our Humanities faculty from September 2018. This position will incorporate teaching History across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four, planning and assessing a range of diverse lessons that meet the needs of all pupils. The successful History teacher will join a dedicated team of eight Humanities specialists and have access to state of the art classroom facilities in the newly refurbished Humanities block. The school wish to appoint a teacher who can demonstrate examples of outstanding practice, and a History teacher who is willing to create lessons to meet the needs of all pupils.

With 1,300 pupils on roll at present, our partner Secondary school is significantly larger than the national average. Due to the demographics of the local area, the school is a mixed diverse community and have statistically higher levels of Pupil Premium (PP) students across their cohort.

Located near to the Moston region of North Manchester, the school can be accessed via the M60 Motorway. For non-drivers, there are a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from neighbouring areas Oldham, Rochdale and central Manchester. There is a metrolink and train station approximately five minutes away from the school gates.
