History Teacher
Are you a History specialist seeking your next History Teaching position? Do you want to teach at a Good Manchester school?
Teaching Personnel have been approached by a secondary school located in South Manchester, to assist with the recruitment of a History Teacher. The successful History Teacher will be able to deliver across KS3 and KS4, and be able to deliver engaging History lessons. This vacancy is for a full time History Teaching position, starting after October half term. This role presents the opportunity for a school based contract for the successful History Teacher, following an introduction to the position from Teaching Personnel. The school are seeking a History Teacher who is an exceptional practitioner, and will be able to meet the high standards of the Humanities department.

The co-educational secondary school is located South of Manchester city centre. The school is easily accessible, with direct public transport links from Manchester city centre, and a 10 minute drive from the Manchester ring road. In their most recent Ofsted inspection, the school was graded 'Good' overall with 'Outstanding' features. The safety and behaviour of pupils was something highlighted in the report. The school is amongst the highest achieving in the local area in terms of exam results. This is the result of setting high standards and expectations for both pupils and teachers, encouraging all in the school environment to strive for success. The History depart is highly supportive, with a highly experienced Head of History. The Manchester school also offers regular CPD training for the teachers, offering opportunity for development and progression.
