History teaching opportunity in Wigan;

  • Full-time History Teacher - Required to start in March 2019
  • Pay in line with you teacher scale point - MPS/UPS (£23,720-£39,406)
  • Temporary contract initially for the remainder of the academic year
  • Complete planning and marking responsibilities included.
  • Definite opportunity for further employment leading into the new academic year

The school have an outlined need due to a key member of their teaching faculty relocating in the coming weeks, with this in mind our client secondary school are in need of a History Teacher who is able to join the school in March 2019 (or sooner).

This will be a full-time position within a well-respected Secondary school that is located in the Wigan LEA, close to Bolton and Salford. The incoming teacher will be responsible for a full time table consisting of a complete History timetable including classes of mixed ability sets at GCSE level.

The school aim to appoint a passionate and dedicated History teacher that will be able to teach well planned and engaging lessons to their students on a regular basis. It will be crucial in support of further employment that the incoming History teacher will be able to stretch the learning of their pupils in order to achieve excellent results at GCSE level.

  • Is located close the East Lancashire Road near the areas of Tyldesley and Astley
  • Has free on site car parking for all teaching staff employed by the school
