An exciting opportunity to support pupils aged 11-16 within the History department of an average sized secondary school in Bolton.
- Full-time History teacher.
- Required from September 2020.
- Supporting students aged 11-16.
- Paid to teaching scale point (GBP24,373 - GBP40,490).
Due to a restructure within the History department, our client secondary school are looking for an additional teacher to ensure all pupils are supported.
The school has recently been graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and is known for consistently good results over the years. The school is a mixed secondary school and has around 800 pupils on roll. The school has modern facilities throughout the school with interactive whiteboards and several computer suites available to both pupils and staff.
The incoming teacher will be expected to take on full planning and marking responsibilities alongside teaching a full timetable. The successful candidate will need to prepare and deliver differentiated History lessons to meet the needs of pupils at varying levels of learning ability.
The school is based within Bolton and is easily accessible via the M61 and A58 from the surrounding areas including Bury, Worsley and Leigh. For candidates without access to their own transport, the school can be accessed via several forms of public transport from neighbouring areas including Farnworth, Kearsley and Little Lever.
