Due to an upcoming need in our client schools Humanities department, there is a need for a History teacher to join them on a full time basis as soon as possible

Full time History teacher required

History Teacher to start now, long term requirement in Humanities department

Teachers of a second subject are encouraged to apply.

Excellent facilities throughout including modern classrooms

Leadership and management judged to be Good by Ofsted

For the duration of this position, you will be responsible for the delivery of History across both Key Stages 3&4, along with the responsibility for planning and marking schemes of work for your groups. The incoming History teacher will join an experienced and innovative department with a track record of excellent results in recent years with students achieving above their expected grades regularly.

The most suitable History teacher will have;

- A PGCE or relevant teaching based qualification specialising in History

- Previous experience working pupils aged 11-16

- A willingness to commit to a long term position from Easter onwards
