History Teacher – Oldham

Full time History Teacher required from January 2020 for a large and oversubscribed secondary school in Oldham.

Due to a gap in the Humanities department of our partner secondary school in Oldham, Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a History Teacher from January 2020 on a fixed term contract until the end of the academic year in the first instance. This exciting opportunity is a potential introduction to a permanent role due to there being a gap in the department.

• Full time Teacher of History role from January 2020
• Fixed term temporary contract for two terms (until July 2020)
• Potential introduction to a permanent post for the perfect candidate
• Teaching History to both KS3 and KS4 level
• Experience teaching other humanities subjects desirable but not essential
• Pay in line with MPS and UPS (GBP24,373-GBP40,490)

Our partner secondary school is located in the Lees area of Oldham and has been recognised as one of the most improved secondary schools in the country in recent years. The school has over 1300 students and is oversubscribed, with the school being very popular within the local community due to recent improvement and also excellent GCSE results in recent years.
