History Teacher Job - January start - in an Excellent school

An excellent small independent school requires an experienced History teacher.

The school is consistently listed in the UK top 100 Independent Schools for A level results. We have regularly been placed first Co-Educational Independent School in Wales for GCSE results, at times achieving a remarkable 80% at grade A and A*. Almost all of our sixth form pupils go on to the universities of their choice and we have a long tradition of sending pupils to Oxford and Cambridge

Suitable candidates will have the following:

  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
  • The proven ability to deliver creative and stimulating lessons that motivate students.
  • The ability to build a good rapport with pupils and staff.
  • Two up-to-date referees that will be able to comment on your teaching ability.
  • An enhanced DBS with registration through the update service. If not in receipt of a DBS (we can help you with this)
