History teacher required in Bishop Auckland to start after Easter

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a History teacher to start after Easter in Bishop Auckland secondary school. The school has an exceptional behavioural policy and is set up to welcome a new History teacher for a maternity cover after Easter.   • Daily rates from £120-£180
  • NQT welcome
  • Teach Key Stage 3 and 4

The ideal candidate

  • Have a genuine passion for History and the ability to inspire and interest students through creative lessons
  • Support the schools aims and objectives for teaching and learning
  • Use an appropriate rang of observation, assessment, monitoring and recording strategies as a basis for setting challenging learning objectives for pupils of all backgrounds
  • Set prep/homework to extend the knowledge and understanding pupils have acquired as appropriate
