Job description

Here at Teaching Personnel I am currently looking to recruit a strong minded individual who can teach across the Humanities department up to Key Stage 4 at my client Secondary school in the Dewsbury area WF13. This role is on a part-time basis covering Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until July with a high possibility for the right candidate to go permanent.

The ideal applicant should be:

  • Fully Qualified Teacher (NQT's will be considered)
  • Passionate and knowledgeable across the Humanities department
  • Be able to plan and deliver challenging and progressive History and Geography lessons to suit a number of different abilities
  • Be able to be part of fully supportive team as a key member of the teaching staff
  • Be highly enthusiastic and punctual - have strong behaviour management skills

This school is in a current state of rapid improvement and moving on the way to becoming rated 'Good' by OFSTED. There is a strong supportive faith running throughout the school where both teachers and pupils work very hard on a daily basis to promote progression and raise the attainment and aspirations of the pupils. I have a number of candidates currently working throughout the school who are getting on great and enjoy working there on a long-term basis.
