Are you a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), seeking full time work in Selby?
The role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in our client primary schools across Selby, you will be responsible for delivering lessons to classes of up to 30 pupils and intervention sessions to small groups. You will confident to stand in for teachers and be able to assess pupils' work to provide feedback. In intervention sessions, you will be confident to support the rapid progress of targeted individuals in particular areas of maths, English and basic skills across KS1 and/or KS2. We have opportunities for day to day supply work, as well as longer term positions for Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA's) within our client primary schools across Selby and the surrounding areas.
Qualifications and experience
You will hold Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) status or higher and have worked within a primary school setting previously.
