Higher Level Teaching Assistant needed- Walkden (M28)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a HLTA for a local ‘GOOD’ rated Primary School in the Walkden area. The role is start immediately and will be working in school supporting the key worker children on a 121 basis and in small groups. Furthermore, you will be required to assist the class teacher on a daily basis and also cover the class when needed too.

Desirable Applicants will need the following:

• Subject specific knowledge
• HLTA Status/ Meet the HLTA standards
• A high level of classroom/pupil management skills
• Ability to provide 1 to 1 support to pupils with SEND
• Be able to cover planned absences on behalf of class teachers
• Be enthusiastic and have a hands-on approach to helping pupils achieve their goals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
