Do you hold HLTA Status?

Teaching Personnel are currently representing a school in the South Sheffield area, who are looking to appoint two HLTAs for September.

The school is an Ofsted rated 'Good' School in the S12 area of Sheffield. The school has a high intake of SEN pupils, so experience supporting children with SEN, including ASC and Global Delay would be desired. The school has undergone many positive changes recently, and will be looking for someone who can contribute to whole school life and support the ethos of the school. Although there are good transport links to this area, owning a car would be beneficial.

We are looking to appoint to a part time post (KS1) and a full time post, which includes covering PPA time in the afternoons. The ideal candidate will be flexible across the year groups and able to manage a whole class. In addition to good English and Maths skills, knowledge of current phonics schemes and assessments would be required. The school is supportive and can offer CPD to develop your skills further.

Our ideal HLTA:

  • HLTA status/Degree Educated
  • Experience covering whole classes
  • Good English and Maths skills (GCSE A-C)
  • Knowledge of current assessments
  • Experience delivering phonics
  • Experience supporting SEN in a Primary/Nursery setting

We can offer you:

  • Either full or part time role
  • Competitive pay of up to £70 per day - with no deductions from us
  • A dedicated, specialist consultant there to support you
  • Support at interview stage
  • £50 refer a friend scheme
  • No paper time sheets
  • Opportunity to go onto a permanent contract with the school

If this sounds like the role for you, please don't hesitate to get in touch. You can call Yasmin on 0114 2413343, or forward your full CV

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see teachingpersonnel.com/faqs for details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
