  • Working 1:1 or in small groups

Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit a qualified Higher Level teaching assistant, to provide tuition, guidance and support to children who require that one to one support throughout the day. The school see this as a very important and influential role to be apart of.

The teaching assistant will work through out the day with maximum 3 pupils, building on their self-confidence and resilience and re-engaging and reintegrate CYP, moving them in to appropriate full-time education in the main classroom at the right time. To ensure this can be a possibility, the school will need the candidate's full commitment going forward.

Due to the challenging behaviour of our pupils, flexibility and understanding are important. You will require excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to manage challenging situations, and to negotiate successfully.

We are seeking candidates who are motivated, reliable and caring, keen to rise to the daily challenges in supporting the pupils at the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
